I have been around the world and back again, a few times… Surely I’m not the only one out there who loves to document their trips! I can also almost guarantee that I’m not the only person who has videos sitting in folders on my computer. With hundreds of thousands of miles flown each year and countless continents visited, my backlog of videos just grows and grows. I even have stuff piled up from trips that I’ve just lost track of. I am sure that EVERYONE can understand the struggle of having heaps and heaps of travel and event videos sitting in random folders taking up space in a hard drive on your computer. Editing videos is a tedious process and sorting through hours of footage can be painstaking. Soooooo, why not have a professional do it? Too expensive maybe? I think NOT! Introducing the TRAVEL VIDEO EDITING SERVICE from SPIVO! You may recognize the Spivo name as it has popped up in my blogs and on my social media pages in the past in the form of the game changing travel selfie stick; the Spivo Stick and their wide angle Spivo travel Lens – Now, the team over at Spivo have come up with a new and INCREDIBLY USEFUL service that helps you to utilize all the video you’ve been shooting all this time!
I love to share my travels and adventures when I am on the move. This is undoubtedly an incredibly useful tool for people who love to share videos but just don’t have the time to edit or who aren’t savvy with editing software. Right now, the Spivo guys are offering a $10 off when you use promo code Greenspan at checkout. I am certain that you will be stoked on the results and feel a great sigh of relief when your video projects come to life! You can check out my BOTSWANA video and see the editing capabilities for yourself!
“The Spivo Stick was a game changer for documenting my travel. Then the Spivo Travel Lens opened up a whole new perspective on the world, literally! Now I can put it all together EFFORTLESSLY“
HOW IT WORKS
You can select one of the three options from the menu based on your needs and the amount of files you have to edit. Choose from the BASIC – EPIC – CINEMATIC Video Experience, then go to the upload and direction page. I had around 15GB consisting of around 145 files of random shots throughout my trip, so I chose the EPIC Travel Video. To note, the files were a mix of gopro, iPhone and DSLR footage, so you can upload most any video file type you have and they will handle the rest! It comes with music, which I was able to choose, as well as a free revision, if I wanted it. The edit that I received was perfect and I didn’t need to have them revise it. They offer a little section for me to give them a bit of direction before they edit as well. I gave a brief idea of how I would like it to flow, with some commentary and a few specific shots that I felt were necessary (flights, elephants, driving, my mom, etc.), then they handled the rest! I received my video, fully edited and ready to share within the seven day time frame that they promised and it was a HOME RUN!
I have so many video projects that are just stonewalled due to lack of editing time or they get backed up, or I just don’t feel like my direction will take the project where I want it to be. Even if it is just a few compilations of Young Sloane running around at the beach or a paintball event walkthrough, this takes some much time off my plate and leaves me with a great edit! I plan to continue to use this platform for future video edits!
